November Kit from CCW

I love this kit and all of the colours.  I needed a break from all the christmas crafts we have been up, I feel like I have been knee deep in wrapping paper, glue and glitter!

Busy!

What a busy few weeks we have had I cant believe christmas in only 3 sleeps away, what is the man in red going to bring this year?

I have some crafty christmas pressies on the go at the moment, I made a hanging for my boss shown below and I have made some cookie jars form the CCW inspiration will update with some pictures tomorrow as they are not quite ready.

I have other good news I entered the Scrapbook Magazine Scrapbooker of the year competition and came runner which was a bit of a shock as only entered on a bit of a whim I didnt actually think I would get anywhere.  I'm still waiting to recieve the magazine which the layouts have been published in I think it maybe stuck in Christmas post.

Well hopefully may get some scrapping done in between wrapping, cooking and keeping the kids occupied  xx

Christmas is here!!

Yeah it's the 1st of December!  Well a few christmas bits have started to make an appearance around the house, the girls are busy practising songs and dances for there Nativity's and I have joined Shimelle Laines "Journal yor Christmas" which is going to keep me busy.  In between everything already planned I may do a spot of other crafy, hmmm we will see?

No crafting

What a terrible week it has been for crafting! I have been so busy with work, orgnanishing patomine trip, christmas nativity with 20 preschool kids and chrismas displays.  My girls have been super busy as well and to top it off hubby has been away, so all in all not alot of craftyness has been done.  Hopefully something may get done tonight, although there is a huge pile of ironing calling my name!!

Christmas Inspiration

The countdown on the CCW website has inspired me to do some festive decor of my own, I have created this wall hanging for the festive period to replace my home sweet home one which hangs in my hallway.  I dont want to put it away so it will stay up in the utility until the 1st of December xx

I received the new scrap 365 magazine and there are details in there on how to make the flowers, I think they suit the style of the layout and finish it off.

No Stabilisers

This is a picture of my eldest daughter learning to ride her bike.  She wanted to take her stabilisers off for such along time and now she can finally do it by herself xx


 I have used the  CCW October scrap map to complete this layout.
I just finished in time to get it on there website xxx

Truly Madly Crafty October Challenge

This is a new blog on my list and I had the perfect photograph to scrap for this challenge at Truly Madly Crafty October Challenge. This is my nephew, neice and daughter taken a few years ago at our local park.  They had so much fun playing in the leaves and I am so glad I captured this picture.

This is my little girl who is nearly 6.  She has caught the scrapbooking bug and she is pretty good!  I dont think my stash will be safe for much longer xx

Home Decor

I am planning on decorating my hall, stairs and landing, ive got the paint (morello and rice cracker) I now need to get my backside in gear to actually do it!  It is going to look fab.  Before starting the decorating ive made a heart hanging to go on my mirror, always best to start with the little things x

Summer Days

Here's another layout for the creative craft world challenge.  I have so many layout ideas buzzing around my head at the moment theres just not enough time in the day to get them all down on paper x

Hope you like the layout its of my daughter on Bournmouth Beach.  We had a great few days down there last summer and the whether was great, she loved playing in the sea, making sandcastles and eating chips on the beach.

New Challenge "Happy Easter"

Have found a great new blog called "Creative Craft World - The Challenge Blog".  Here is my take on their scrap map Saturday challenge June 18th.  I hope its bright and bold enough!

No Camera!

Oh no!  What am I going to do?  The camera is officially bust according to the man on the phone and will cost £168.00 to put right, thats more than I paid for it!

Pants!

What a completly pants couple of days I have had.  Firstly the car starts making some very strange noise which get worse as i'm driving along the bypass I nearly cry as it feels like its just going to breakdown on me but I manage to get home.  I take it down to the garage they say they will give me a ring when they have chance to look at it, 20 min later I get the dreaded phone call............engines knackered!!!   Secondly camera decides not to work so that has been sent off for repair not sure what is wrong with it at the moment and then thirdly my slow cooker get a big crack in the pot and now I cant use it anymore.  I hope next week will be better, hopefully may win the lottery tonight!

Thankfully was cheered up by my sister in law who collected my raffle win from paper arts and I have some lovely clear stamps with cakes on and I have the perfect project for them.  Will let you know how I get on with some pics when my camera return.

Today....

Busy day at work today, lots of crazy children we had to take them for a run round the park as they were manic!  I got home to a message on my phone and I won some goodies at the paperarts open day on their raffle yipee!  My canvas bag has also arrived from Ebay so will have fun decorating that tonight when I return from Zumba, if im not toooo tired.

Paperarts Open Day

What a great morning we had at the paperarts open day after a very rainy drive to stroud.   I bought just a few things I was very good!

There were lots of bargains to be had and some very lovely cakes and biscuits.  So if you haven't been yet they are open again today!
