November Kit from CCW

I love this kit and all of the colours.  I needed a break from all the christmas crafts we have been up, I feel like I have been knee deep in wrapping paper, glue and glitter!

Busy!

What a busy few weeks we have had I cant believe christmas in only 3 sleeps away, what is the man in red going to bring this year?

I have some crafty christmas pressies on the go at the moment, I made a hanging for my boss shown below and I have made some cookie jars form the CCW inspiration will update with some pictures tomorrow as they are not quite ready.

I have other good news I entered the Scrapbook Magazine Scrapbooker of the year competition and came runner which was a bit of a shock as only entered on a bit of a whim I didnt actually think I would get anywhere.  I'm still waiting to recieve the magazine which the layouts have been published in I think it maybe stuck in Christmas post.

Well hopefully may get some scrapping done in between wrapping, cooking and keeping the kids occupied  xx

Christmas is here!!

Yeah it's the 1st of December!  Well a few christmas bits have started to make an appearance around the house, the girls are busy practising songs and dances for there Nativity's and I have joined Shimelle Laines "Journal yor Christmas" which is going to keep me busy.  In between everything already planned I may do a spot of other crafy, hmmm we will see?

No crafting

What a terrible week it has been for crafting! I have been so busy with work, orgnanishing patomine trip, christmas nativity with 20 preschool kids and chrismas displays.  My girls have been super busy as well and to top it off hubby has been away, so all in all not alot of craftyness has been done.  Hopefully something may get done tonight, although there is a huge pile of ironing calling my name!!

Christmas Inspiration

The countdown on the CCW website has inspired me to do some festive decor of my own, I have created this wall hanging for the festive period to replace my home sweet home one which hangs in my hallway.  I dont want to put it away so it will stay up in the utility until the 1st of December xx

I received the new scrap 365 magazine and there are details in there on how to make the flowers, I think they suit the style of the layout and finish it off.
