Great Giveaway!

So Busy!
I have had no time for scrapping over the past few weeks, I have so many things I want to do but so little time. I did however get creative with some Jubilee dresses for my girls, two Union Jack tea towels, some ribbon and a sewing machine, hey presto Jubilee dress!
The weather stayed dry for the procession from the local school, 100's of people turned up for a big party in the park. But sadly the weather turned awful and most of the atractions had to close. Wet and windy end to what could have been a great day.
Now hopfully I may update you with some scrapping tomorrow.

My Little Beach Hut
I bought this little wooden house at the craft fair I went to in Worcester at the beggining of march and its been sat waiting for me to do something with it ever since.
It reminded me of a little beach hut so I dug out some photos of the girls on holiday last year and added some shells and holiday bit and bobs and this is what I ended up with and I love it!

Wedding Day
Hello to who ever is reading.
I have found (i'm not sure how I got there) this great sketch challenge blog "My Creative Sketches"
This is there March sketch.

Below is my take on their sketch. It's a photo taken of my nan on her wedding day in 1951, just walking down to the church with her dad, I love the proud smile on his face and the way my nan isn't looking at the camera and having a little smile to herself.

CCW March Scrap Map
Here is my very loose take on the CCW Scrap Map March Challenge. This picture was taken of me and my husband the day we got engaged. This is a picture I have wanted to scrap for a while now but couldn't find the papers to match. I then recived the February kit from Creative Craft World and I think the colours work with the photo really well.

CCW January Scrap Map
Another great sketch from the Creative Craft World.. Here is the sketch.....

Here is my take on the sketch. This is my eldest daughter taken on holiday last year, she thought she looked so good wearing her dads sunglasses x
My aim for the beginning of this year is to try and use up some of my old papers which are just sitting around not doing much. These papers are from the Love Elsie collection, I love the colours and they suit my little girl perfectly.
Hope you like it xx

Felt flowers
I was looking at some of the layouts on the Bobunny blog and came across these gorgeous felt flowers their designer had used on her layout http://bobunny.blogspot.com/2012/01/more-than-4.html (take a look). I dug out my felt and had a go at making my own.
1. Fold a piece of felt 10cm in length, 3cm in width in half and snip across the fold.
2. Fold one end in and hold in place with a stitch
3. Keep rolling the the felt along and securing in place with little stitches.
4. Once rolled up you should end up with something like this, secure into place with a few more stitches. Now make a layout to put them on EASY!
